Stories Behind the Supplies

Many of the supplies donated to SPARE once belonged to someone who loved to make things—someone who sewed, painted, sketched, crafted, or collected. Often, they’re no longer with us, but their creativity lives on in the materials now passed to others.

If you’ve donated in honor of someone, you’re welcome to share a few words here:

• What did they love to create?

• Is there a memory you'd like to share?

• Or simply a name, a thought, or a thank-you.

You can include a photo if you'd like.

At our shop, we’re creating a small space to honor these stories—something visible, growing, and rooted in the lives and hands that helped build this shop and community. Contributions shared here may be included in that display.
