Donation Guide
What we can’t accept
We’re grateful for your generosity—but to make sure donations are safe, useful, and manageable for our small team, please note the following:
No dirty, musty, moldy, or hazardous items. All donations must be clean, dry, and in good condition.
No broken tools or equipment.
No disorganized materials. Please avoid donating tangled thread, ribbon, or trim, tiny fabric scraps, or unsorted piles of paper.
No very large donations without SPARE approval. Planning to donate relatively big or a high volume of materials? Email us first so we can confirm we have the space.
No “drop and go” donations. All items must be reviewed by staff at drop-off unless you’ve made prior arrangements. Unapproved donations left behind may be considered illegal dumping.
Not sure if something is a fit? We’re happy to help—just email us at donations@sparecrafts.org.
